Do they mean freshly squeezed lemon juice or the kind that comes in bottles at the grocery store?

Does the bottle kind have a more concentrated taste and would I need to use less of it?

It is usually up to interpritation. Both work equally well, it depends on what your preference is. I myself dont feel that there is a major difference between the two. Most recipe's will say "fresh squeezed" if they feel it calls for it.

Freshly squeezed always tastes better than that stuff in a bottle. I don't ever use the bottled kind of lemon juice.

I would buy the lemon juice in a bottle or one of the little plastic lemons shaped and colored like a lemon. This is the juice there talking about. You can use a real one but may be hard to get juice to a point where you can measure it. With cooking I always use lemon juice from a bottle.

Freshly squeezed is always preferred , the stuff in the bottle is the option of last resort.
Minute Maid makes an excellent frozen lemon juice that puts all of that nasty bottled stuff to shame .

Hi there! Usually the recipe is referring to freshly squeezed lemon juice. The bottled variety is almost 100% lemon juice as well though, so you could use it without many dramas.

Most recipes that call for lemon juice mean freshly squeezed. You can subsistute the bottled kind -- but it does not taste the same.

Lemon Juice from a bottle would be fine and easier, than fresh squeezed.

either but to be honest real lemon is best. The concentrate is expensive but you can store it and have it on hand......it's a choice....but lemons have been costly lately so you make the best decision based on the fact that if you have concentrate use it, if not buy a lemons.
