LOL, if you are SUCH a person then let me ask YOU the same thing. How do YOU feel about being 70 pounds overweigth? If you still LOVE yourself and can accept yourself for who you are, then WHY should anyone else have a problem with that? If you DON'T like that about yourself, then DO something about it. Eat right, excercise more, and just get your act togehter about it.

Meyself, I'd rather be with a heafvy woman who is a WONDERFUL person than be with a skinny woman who is a TERRIBLE person. Just decide for yourself who and what you are and what changes you WANT to make for yourself and then DO it. If you're comfortable with yourself the way you are then you WILL find someone who is able to accept you for the way you are as well. (((((Rae)))))

suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://diet4cleansing.com

They should take sensible steps to lose 70 pounds. I now weigh about 57 pounds less than I once did. I am at the weight I should be, and I feel good about it.

I think that anyone who is that much overweight is what is termed morbidly overweight. It amazes me that people can let things get so out of control. Its not like you wake up one morning and say "Oh my gosh I ate too much yesterday I'm hanging over the edges of the bed that has collapsed from sudden my weight gain."
Seriously, I would think that anyone who got that much overweight almost certainly had other issues that need dealing with besides the weight loss.

I don't. Why should I sit in judgment of anyone else? We all have our own problems. It's just that people who are overweight can't hide theirs behind closed doors like an alcoholic or drug user or child abuser. I don't understand why anyone would think that an overweight person is fair game for judgment, ridicule or pity. We should all just live and let live.

Are you exercising regularly? Are you eating decently? If you're taking care of yourself then it may be a thyroid or hormone imbalance. Or perhaps you're suffering from depression. SSRI's make people eat a whole lot more than they need to so they gain weight.

Being overweight myself, I don't think poorly of people...until they get to be around 350-400 pounds. THEN I think they need to do something to help themselves.

What people other than those who know them think is immaterial.

If it's someone I know, I worry about the health implications of them being overweight or underweight for that matter, it is however their body and their life as long as it makes no impact on mine.

Well, let's see... I'm 70 lbs overweight. And I think to myself... why so much stress in my life? I also think, does this person even think about the people who could be overweight, like me?!!!
