try www.bigw.com.au
That's where I got my job

or www.woolworths.com.au
I heard you get paid $14 an hour but I think that's for 18+ workers.

You can't go to these stores and hand in a resume in person.

If i were you, i'd apply for a job with bakeries, like Bakers Delight or Brumbys. Well, those are shops where I live, so you might not have heard of them. You get the left over pasteries and bread at the end of the day!

if you're really stuck for work, go with MacDonald's or something like that. Not the best, but it could do you for until you find a better job.

Also, check your local library to see if they are hiring teens. A library is a great, peaceful place to work, i reckon.

Good luck!

As a teenager, be careful of applying to just any job or company that will hire you. You should first talk to your parents about your decision to get into the workplace. They may already know someone that can put you in touch with a hiring manager. Relatives, teachers or coaches may also know someone or tell you about a job that you had never considered.

A lot of communities have mentoring programs for teens that help you to get experience or a feel for fields that you might like to try when you launch out on your own. Otherwise, I would recommend checking your local library (lots of jobs for teens) and scan the newspapers. Good for you for wanting to go out and work.

The YMCA is a great place to work- try their after school program. And the good thing is that you work after school until 6 and then don't have to work on weekends. A good first job

Fast food, retail sales -- these places are always looking for employees. Go apply in person (but not during their busy times). Filling out applications and going thru interviews is good practice for later in life.

Of course, there's always babysitting and lawn mowing. Make yourself a flyer and pass out in your neighborhood.
