What are the qualities of a good man?

A good man is one who is confident in himself, strong in his convictions, able to laugh at his weaknesses, cry when he's hurting, laugh when he's happy. A GOOD man KNOWS that he doesn't NEED a woman to complete himself, that he is already complete all by himself. Although he may not NEED a woman he DOES WANT a woman, to share his life with, to love and provide for her needs. A good man supports those he loves and provides guidance, help, and compasion to his mate and family. A good man niether walks behind nor in front of his partner but; walks beside her, as equal partners in an honest, loving relationship. A GOOD man is faithful to his woman, his family, his friends and his community, because if he CAN'T be so, then he can't expect that of those around him. (((((Rae)))))

I think the qualities of a good man are someone you can also talk to who will listen. Someone who will be there when you're going through a rough time. A guy who will stand up for you if someone else is putting you down. A guy is loving and caring and not a jerk whatsoever. A good man is also a smart person who can hold his own in a conversation and is also not a mean bigheaded person.

I would say that the qualities of a good man is someone who will support you (not necessarily financially) and be there for you always. They are kind and considerate of your feelings, and love you for who you are. You feel secure when you are with that person, and you can trust them.
