She'll be fine. There isn't enough chocolate in a brownie to be toxic. She may have some loose stool, but probably not even that. And yes, chocolate, especially concentrated varieties, are very toxic if they ingest enough of it.

It takes a lot of chocolate to kill a normal sized dog. The brownies should not do it. The chemical in the chocolate builds up in the system, so each incidence of eating chocolate becomes more serious. Don't try to make the dog throw up, because it could aspirate the brownies and cause it to get pneumonia. If you can call an emergency vet, they usually will give you advice over the phone. If not, watch the dog for any signs of sickness. It will probably have loose stools, so take it outside and walk it and make sure it goes outside before bedtime. Make sure the dog eats its normal dinner tonight and drinks water and don't give it any dessert for at least a week!

He really should be fine, so relax and keep an eye on him. If he needs to go out in the night, be sure to take him out so he doesn't make a mess in the house.

It takes a large amount of chocolate to kill a dog, a brownie would not be enough. The theobromine in the chocolate is what is toxic. And it takes 100-150 mg of theobromine per pound of the dog's weight to kill the dog; read this link below for more information.
The way to treat is the same for human poisoning. Activated charcoal, emetics, and fluids.

Call the animal poison control for more information.1-800-548-2423.
Most major cities also have emergency vets available 24/7

She should be fine though because it is such a small amount. My dog ate a box of raisins which are also toxic to dogs, but he was OK

Well luckily she ate a brownie and not bakers unsweetened chocolate. The closer to the cocoa plant the chocolate is the worse it is for your dog. Most likely she will get some diarrhea. Keep an eye on her. If she begins breathing heavily(more than usually), or if her thirst increases significantly, or if she vomits, you will need to find an emergency clinic to call and potentially go to if they feel it necessary. Meanwhile, allow her to drink, and keep a close watch.

You could try making her throw up. Mix 1/2 strength peroxide and water and give her a small amount to make her vomit. You may want to watch her and see how she does first. Not every dog reacts horribly to chocolate. Call your Vet's answer service and tell them what happened and ask for the Vet to call you back and let you know what they want you to do. A phone call doesn't cost anything. Well unless it's long distance.

A fudge brownie will give him ,You know I can't spell Diarea, you will need to take him out tonight make sure he has water. My dog has eaten MMs Choc. Etc. with no effects . Don't give dogs chocolate as a rule but small amounts are certainly not fatal.
By the way Don't force feed a dog a can of evap. milk or you really will have a sick dog

She should be fine although she might get an upset stomach. While dogs should not have chocolate, brownies contain a great deal of other ingredients. She might have diarrhea or vomit, too, but it won't kill her. From now on, though, make sure you keep the goodies up and away where she can't get at them. Dogs LOVE people food!

There is not much chocolate in a brownie. She will probably be fine. If you are still concerned or if the dog is acting sick, call a vet for advice in the morning if she is having diareha or is puking

She is not going to die. The worst that could happen is that she will get a stomach ache and poop a lot.

Calm down, honey. It's ok. She is going to be ok. Don't worry.
