I think it might make a difference, and if you're good at running, who cares? Just try it out and see, and then you can recommend it to your friends! Every single part of you counts when getting past the wind resistance. If you do long distance, then I don't suppose you really have to, but with sprinting it's a must. If you're a boy and feel embarrassed about it, do it when it's the holidays or something when no one can see. Test it out and if it doesn't work, then it'll have time to grow back again. Good luck!

I have had this personal experience: If you think it will make you go faster, it will. Honestly, the wind resistance of your leg hairs is negligable. You probably won't even notice.
(Note: for swimmers, this is different: shaving your legs makes a noticeable difference for them)

I don't think it will change that much, but go ahead and try it if you really want to! I know swimmers have to, because water resistance, but air resistance is big too!

My state xc team did it for that reason, but I don't know if it makes any difference, or at least enough of a difference to be worth it.
