Is it just to hard to swollow even for christians?

They ignore anything that does not suit them. Sister inviolate of the immaculate deception and Sister Euphemia of the five wounds.

It does tend to show foolishness a bit.
But it does show God's power.
And it is not so different from Satan appearing to Eve as a serpent. And speaking to her.
This is confirmed in ;
(Revelation 12:9) So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.

Consider this:
When Satan tempted Eve by having that little conversation with her (Genesis 3) he was in the form of a serpent. You'll notice Eve didn't say, "holy cow - a talking snake!" did she?

I love to preach about the talking donkey. It shows how much smarter a donkey is than a man.

I don't mind talking about it, what do you wish to discuss? As far as "swallowing" the story, if I believe a Creator did all that He did by speaking it into existence, why would I question a talking donkey?

Who says that Christians don't like to talk about it? I don't have any problem with it. It's what's known as a "miracle", small potatoes to God who can create the entire universe from nothing.
