But, seriously....I have this bottle of banana liqour thats been on my shelf for 4 years....and I just opened it and started drinking it. Does acohol expire?

No alcohol does will not expire. This is the reason the pirates drank so much rum. Carrying water in barrels across the sea the water would form a film of scum on it and would actually go bad where as the barrels of rum would not. {FYI- Yes I know that they probably enjoyed it too but these are the facts} Be careful and drink responsibly.

If it was sealed nicely, with for example a cork or the original packaging it should be fine. Other wise the alchohol could evaporate, but as for bacteria and stuff, more often than not the alcohol will kill it.

Not really unless it requires refrigeration. The alcohol content will weaken with time (alcohol evaporates). Unless it has a weird taste or odor or is cloudy in appearance...I say it is just fine! Enjoy!

NO. enjoy it. as long as it was never opened before now, it should be just fine. if it was opened 4 yrs ago.. hen it might taste a little skanky... but...then again who knows. enjoy.

No liquor has no expiration dates, It last indefinitely, Enjoy it....
