Well , I have problems with my anger ( I'm too stubborn and direct) with my sister, and I hate the person I've become because of my mood swings with my family. Can someone help me? in any ways please? because I dont wanna mess up the relationships that I have right now. But I'm not angeroholic or something like that tho.

well, there is one technique you can try -- i have been using it for years, and it helps... but it takes some work to get used to doing it all the time.

anytime a person says something or does something and you want to react or respond, COUT TO 20 IN YOUR MIND before you say or do a thing!

take a couple calming, deep breaths while you're counting.

this 20 seconds will give you time to think about what you're going to say.

the longer i used this technique, the more it helps.

take care!

I think that it's great that you see that you don't want to worry so much anymore. So with that thought, you can decide to choose something different. Decide to think positively instead. When you catch yourself worring, then decide right then to see the best possible, even miraculous outcome for what you are worried about.
So, for example: Say, you are worried that you don't have enough money. Decide to stop worring about not having enough money (because you are just feeding that thought and outcome) and think of the best possible outcome- I have enough money! and then, get into the feeling of having enough money. Then, you are in a postition to do something about what you do want in your life.
Getting into the thought of the best possible outcome is where your power is. Then, you start attracting the positive energy that you really want and stop focusing on the negative (worry) outcome.
Our thoughts are very powerful- decide to be in charge and go forward into what you would rather be doing and thinking.
I hope this helps. Keep your chin up and change your focus. Some uplifting music helps too.
It also is worse during P.M.S. I here relax by claming music. Maybe take up a new hobby. I do active things.

There are people who just have hurt from childhood, so it's basically things that have been stuffed inside and hurt very deeply. There are other people who have a chemical imbalance, and yes, do need their serotonin replenished through medication. This is an ACTUAL deficiency...and nothing to be ashamed of. Only your doctor can tell you for sure. I hope you make an appointment. It could be a relief for you to find out that it is not your fault. You and you alone, know if you also need some counseling or anger mangement. All the best to you.

Same exact problem here. My x-wife convinced me to seek medical and psychiatric help for it. I began taking a regiment of medication that turned me into a moron. You are who you are, your mind works the way it does for a reason and the world is a large assortment of personalities. If you make changes, remember, you will no longer be who you are now. Anger is one of many emotions you have, and can not be changed without affecting the others. If violence sets in, then you have no choice but to take action. If it's just mood swings, they will come to understand that it is a part of you and accept it.

Talk to your parents about this, just like you did here.

It could be pms. It could be that you're slightly depressed. It could be that you need to get more sleep and make sure that you get it.

One thing you could do is to write down the date that you feel really bad and chart yourself. It may coincide w/your period.

If that doesn't work, you may need to see your doctor.

Hang in there--it's great that you recognize that you have a problem and want to help yourself. That's a sign of maturity.
