BBC Panorama aired on the 23rd of July with a programme describing the immigration crisis recently hitting the UK. It suggested that the government figures were wrong and that there are actually a lot more people coming to the UK than leaving. With councils receiving limited funding based on these government figures a lot of pensioners etc are finding their benefits are being cut and in some cases, services that were foc are now too expensive for these people to afford. How do we rectify this problem to ensure that our children, the natives are still going to receive the benefits that we have worked so hard for i.e. free schools and NHS. Should the UK have a visa system for europeans as well as the rest of the world and should we only be accepting skilled workers?
