When I was waching the news, I saw all this people rallying for residency in the USA. But I know that all the immigrants that come the USA, do not want to leave their countries, culture, and language. Why they do not do the same thing they do here in their own countries and make their country better.

This is a sensitive subject for me...I just see our tax money being spent on the wrong issues.

Quality of life is different in many parts of the world. (Yea I know, duh) The rights we have here are way better than in other countries, too. We have minimum wage and allow freedom of speech, aka mass rallies.

The bad thing is in this country we have a history of letting illegals win lawsuits that payout big amounts. I mean, look at all the AZ/ TX deserts that have drinking fountains in the middle of nowhere to eliminate the illegals from dying from thirst while crossing into our country. I don't see other countries providing the same luxuries for illegals into their countries.

If we let these foreigners become legal just cause of these rallies, it will only happen again in so many years. We didn't send out the right message back in the 80's when we first tried this way of documenting/naturalizing illegals.

Because, at least in Mexico, the government is corrupt beyond belief. Every level of government. The police are able to do whatever the please. There is no accountability. There isn't even a system in place for checks and balances. Citizens don't own guns, so, they are at a major disadvantage.

Think Chiapas: when the citizens tried to riot, they were shot by the 100's. This was fairly recent (1994?) Before this, the opposing governmental side had just won the election, and, the president-elect was assassinated (1992). There is no hope here. The police are not afraid to kill someone, and, they do.

it wouldn't be easy. I can understand that if you don't really have a grasp on how other countries work, you would say what you said.
