that God drowned in the flood?

She really only told us about the boat and the rainbow. But she never mentioned all the rotting corpses.

Maybe she thought you wouldn't understand. I guess she's still right.

Sort of implied don't you think? Oh, you're trying to call God a murderer. Well what you fail to understand is that God is the author of life, and has every right to give it and take it as he sees fit. Now, either God exists or he doesn't. If he does then you have no ground to stand on. If he does not then you can find a more productive use of your time, at least I would think so. My supposition is that you know he exists and are a little peeved at him for it (like the Bible says), and you are trying to justify yourself before him by impugning his righteousness rather than bending the knee. Hey maybe atheists will eventually evolve legs without knees, that way they wont be able to kneel, genuflect, bow or do anything else that could be interpreted as a physical show of humility.

Where does it say in the bible that a single baby drowned? It is entirely possible, especially considering the longer lifespans given by the bible, that people decided to put off childbearing- or even forbear it altogether (and thus possibly could have gone against God's express wish that people "be fruitful and multiply").

Of course she didn't tell you about that. Kids who are not yet indoctrinated would question a god killing nearly everything on the planet because it was too stupid to come up with a better solution to solve the problems that it had created.

Anyone who thinks that the god of the christian bible is moral has no idea what the word means.

Just focus on the rainbow....it is pretty to distract your attention from the horrible things....

Kind of: "oh look, rotting babies,.....oooooh rainbow....pretty......isn't god nice to make something so pretty.....what is that smell? smells like rotting babies....wow...look at that big boat....that is impressive ...god must be great to inspire building that"

I think your sunday school teacher may have been easily distracted.

How typical that many of you would automatically blame God rather than the stiff-necked parents of all those babies who chose to walk in their own way rather than that of their creator, much in the manner of many people today, I'm afraid.

Those people deserved to die. Even the babies. That is how wicked they were. Wasn't that god's point?

we learned of all the dead babies who went to limbo. But now the Vatican says there is no such thing as limbo. So where did they go?

Religious ppl tend to pick and choose what they will and wont tell you about the bible. Besides,...man wrote the Bible,..not God, not Jesus

That's just nasty, and the important part is the boat, and especially the rainbow.
