I'm dark skinned (think brown Filipina) and need a black tattoo covered up while on vacation with the parents. I went to a beauty store bc someone recommended Joe Blasco but they said that Killer Cover was better. I've read a few reviews of the product online but didn't commit to anything since i felt that they were just trying to make a sale. Has anyone used these products with success (tattoo'd covered completely). Was it waterproof?-- I'll be going in the water. Please let me know! Pictures would help also (link!) Thanks..

I've tried to cover a lighter tattoo because I used to be an actor and would go out for auditions and the tattoo wasn't necessairly appropriate. Good luck trying to cover something like that up for an extended period of time. No matter how good the makeup it will still look like makeup over something dark. Maybe if you were just having dinner in a dark restaurant, but I'm sorry to say I don't think you'll have much luck. Of course, I'm pale, so that may be why I didn't have much luck. It's worth a try, but you may be better off trying to hide it with clothes, jewelry or a bandade, depending on where it is of course!

I went to a makeup artist and got makeup designed for scars...but I can't remember the brand name.
