Money, things, stuff, fame, popularity, greed keep people from living for God's purpose. I go to Haiti on missions trips and these people have absolutely none of the above, however, they are the most "on purpose" people I know. They are content, joyful and giving in every sense of the word and they love God with all their heart and soul. They have nothing so they rely on Him for every need. Yeah, the stuff in our comfortable lives gets in the way of serving God 100%.
