Do I look overweight to you? I am 5'5 138 lbs. Now people say that I don't actually look that heavy. I play a lot of sports and I am in pretty good shape. What do u think?

Here's the thing. If you are active and do sports than the chances are that you are not overweight. Don't look at numbers!!! The scale doesn't know that you do sports and probably a lot of the weight is muscle. Sounds to me that you are fine!

ok there are girls in our school who get made fun of that much more bigger than u are and i cant believe your 138 lbs im 127 i think and ive been told im overweigth and some of it has to do w/ muscle so weight doesn't matter and plus if u do lots of sports u should have nothin to worry about b/c u should be healty and doing the best u can. i have friends that look just like u and they feel skinny and brag and other kids tell them there skinny so i don't think u need to worry if ur fat b/c ur not and sometimes as u get older your body grows so u may not look anything like that later in life

Honey overweight depends on so many different things. I happen to be 5 6 and 165. I don't think I'm fat. I know I'm a little heavier than I'd like to be but I feel that I'm healthy. I eat right and exercise daily. If you want to see a pic of me go to summerae.spaces.live.com and see if I look overweight. Weight has nothing to do with it. Its all how you feel about yourself and how you present yourself. Don't worry about how much you weigh be concerned how healthy you are. If you're healthy then the rest will fall into place. *ps this is my boyfriends account

Seems to be ok.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

No hunne. You do not look overweight nor are you. when i was 16 i was 5'3 and 130 Ibs. I thought I was overweight too! Maybe from playing all those sports your muscles are getting bigger and alas you think you are getting heavier, but really with the muscles it makes you weigh more.

You do look a little heavy, but if you're active you should be fine. Some people are naturally more curvy than others and that looks like it may be you. Don't ever let people tell you to be something you are not.

oh stop it you are not fat. Its only your body build. I'm glad you are active. Remember starving yourself is no way to get fit so remember. Eat healthy foods and stay active and youlle have nothing to fear.

Don't listen to what Dn bleach said. You are not over wieght.

I am 12 and weight only 98 pounds. Although my aptite will suprise you. I wish I could gain a few pounds.

At your age, weight should not be an issue. As you grow older your weight will proportion differently. Enjoy your youth and stop worrying about weight. Exercise and eating low fat will help you in the future.

i am also 5'5 in height at the age of 12 and i am 120 pounds.so i think you're not that heavy.just choose the food you will eat to lessen your weight and don't think of what others think of you just be yourself and have fun

You sound like you are in good shape, depending on your body type. I am 5'2' and 105, but I have a small frame. My husband of 6 years still thinks I got it going on....
