I have a recurring dream where I'm in a very small room and it's grey and the only light is a swinging lightbulb. Then I hear evil voices all around me of demons or something that want to kidnap me and drain me of some sort of power. Out of nowhere I scream and I jump high. I turn into this burst of yellow light and see the demon things and they burn up. Then I see each part of me burst with light. Then I wake up. I've had this dream at least 12 times now so I think it means something. What does it mean? (P.S. I'm a former Wiccan, now a Christian, I don't believe in astrology, and I've gone to counselling.)

I've had versions of this dream where I blast the weird creature things with my hand and yellow light, where instead I'm in a small flooded cave and I'm walking on water, where I bring my hands together and there is a tiny ball of light, where I grow wings, and where a weird kid who used to go in my school has been the head demon thing or is kidnapped first and then I save him. At of them I saw in third person and once I jump I don't fall to the ground.

I find dreams like this very interesting. The fact that you have mentioned that you were a Wiccan, and recently converted to Christianity, gives me a very clear understanding of this dream/vision.
These demons that you seen are not a figment of your imagination. What you have seen is your spiritual realm. These demons are trying to take you back to the Wiccan ways and your previous lifestyle. Yet, becuase of your belief in Christianity, the power of Christ and the Holy Spirit, is helping you to defeat these demons. But be advised, these types of demons do not give up easily and they will be coming back smarter and stronger. It will be hard to defeat them on your own. Only the power of Christ and your belief and trust in Him can save you.
You are struggling with your new found faith. But you are starting to see first hand how God has taken you under his protection and is wanting to save you.
Just "keep on the sunny side of life"!!!

I think the most important thing here is the yellow light. It seems to be the biggest part of you, the representation of you, in these dreams. Yellow usually represents some sort of peace or harmony, but when you're turning yellow, it may show some sort of fear of lack of courage. I think its interesting that you mention the change from Wiccan to Christian. If your consciousness is aware enough to mention this, I'm thinking that your subconscious is ever more obsessed with it, and I think you realize it might have something to do with this. The light, in Christian interpretation, is sometimes identified with the wisdom of God, or Christ within you.
I'd say your dream is a representation of the battle you're having making this change from Wiccan to Christian. I'm not sure where you feel you are in this conversion. If you're not far, then maybe this is a tension that you are having - your way of holding on to the past. Maybe you're having worries about what you are leaving behind?
At the same time, I'd think it could be a fear, instead, of what is to come. The fact that the light is always overtaking you says to me that you want this change.
I'd say you should really sit down, outside of it all, and figure out what you really want, what you really believe, and make sure that you have your convictions with you. If you have any reservations about what you are leaving behind, or any fears of what you are getting yourself into, you'll continue to have this dream. If you really want to make this transition, maybe sit down with someone from your Christian circle (maybe a church member or pastor, depending on where you're going, if at all) and express these feelings to them.
But once you make a decision on what you truly want, you've got to take hold with both hands.

Small room represents a place in your life uncomfortable and their not much room to expand. Grey represents being mediocre and straddling the fence. The yellow light which burst out of you represents the glory of God and the potential in you that is awakened. The demons see the potential in you and they are after that. But when God awakens your potential in you then demons will not be able to stand in your presence.

The darkness ( grey) represents your past, the swinging light bulb represents your new spirtual finding in God - the swinging is a sign of protection. Each part of you bursting with light, means you will be keeping your strength to continue with your new found spirtualness and it will build up till all darkness has gone and you see only all light- goodness and strength and protection of God.

You have undergone a transformation that has empowered you. You've struck down the demons of your past. You have allowed yourself to be a channel of light now. Fear has abandonned you.
This is a good thing. Keep up the fight.

what you see when you dream are just symbols that your sub-conscious creates to help you deal with what is going on in your life that you can't deal with when you are awake. i am with you though on this i think it means something too. you used to be wiccan. you may have given it up but i don't think it has given you up. this is hard for me since i too am a Christian. as a wiccan you opened yourself up to many things that should have never been opened up. do you know of anyaone who is still wiccan and might be able to help you? if so go to them and have a cleansing ritual done. it must be done with a stick of burning sage and a wiccan prayer of cleansing must be said. if you do not have a coven any longer to help you then you will need at one person to help you. they must say the LORDS PRAYER as you are being circled by the person holding the burning sage. GOOD LUCK
