Why didn't they consistantly replace LORD with Jehovah in all of the places that LORD was found?
Why leave some of the scriptures where LORD (Jehovah) refers to Jesus, out?

If a lover of truth would compare the NWT with the Ameican Standard Version, he would see how extensively the name "Jehovah" appears and how the NWT does not insert the Divine Name in the Bible to suit the purpose of Jehovah's Witnessess. It's too bad she is not concerned that MOST Bibles have removed the Name COMPLETELY.
The only answer the asker is "excited" about is from someone who went to an anti-witness website and did a copy-and-paste. For some reason that the asker will probably never admit to, she has a strong hatred for Jehovah's Witnesses. It is reflected in the questions and comments she makes about us. She is not after information about us. She is is just stirring up hatred, bigotry, and prejudice against Jehovah's Witnesses. Does she have such a negative view about other religious groups that she is NOT a part of? No. So why is her anger directed toward us? Did one of us accidentally run over her cat with his/her car? She hides her profile so you can't see just how bigoted she is toward Jehovah's Witnesses. Maybe one day she will open up and admit why she has such a bitter spirit against the people who used to call her their spiritual sister.
Those who know the asker of this question are well aware that she is prejudiced against Jehovah's Witnesses. But she can't see how hypocritcal SHE is. She claims to be Baptist. That means her beliefs are somewhat different from Lutherans, Catholics, Apostolics, and other religious groups that also profess Christianity. But where does she focus her attacks? On Jehovah's Witnesses. It's because of that that I question her motives EVERY TIME she asks questions about us. She is not after the truth. Her whole intent is to undermine our Bible-based beliefs and to spread her brand of venom. Those who are after the truth will find it in spite of her efforts to stop them.

the biggest blunder of your question is that Matthew 24:36 isn't pertaining to 1914 - the beginning up of Jesus' presence. The "day and hour" of Matthew 24:36 is pertaining to the top of this technique of issues - Armageddon. The Bible teach e book says on website 204: "related to the top of this technique of issues, he expenditures Jesus as asserting: 'related to that day and hour no person is conscious, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, yet basically the daddy.' " The e book of course refers to "the top of this technique of issues," and not the beginning up of Jesus' presence. Now, at this evaluate time, Jesus would ok know the "day and hour." He in simple terms did no longer comprehend it whilst he spoke those phrases interior the 1st century. even nevertheless, the Watchtower and JWs do no longer know the "day and hour," so which you question is in step with an incorrect premise.

The name of the true God was put back in the Scriptures where it originally was. Jesus is Jehovah's Son and wherever LORD is found in all capital letters, that is where the name of Jehovah would have been. In the Greek Scriptures, Jesus is represented as Lord, not LORD.
Jehovah and Jesus are two entirely separate spirit persons and the NWT thus helps us to come to know the one true God and the one whom he sent forth---Christ Jesus.
to millie---who gave the KJV translators the right to replace the name of God (Jehovah) with LORD? Who did they think they were to do so?
Dear Silenced--- Instead of questioning why God's name is used in the Bible, why not question why it was removed in the first place.
Jehovah would rather have his name known than have it become a mere title like God or LORD. Do you not like it when people call you by your name? Our God likes it too and by using his name, we are able to draw close to him.
Dear Silenced---The answer is because the name of God should be made known. When you use the name even in your question, you too make his name known.
If the name of Jehovah was left out, it was because it didn't belong. The KJ translators placed the names in such a way as to try to make Jehovah into a triune God, which is not what he is. Jehovah can only be pleased with the Bible (NWT) that actually honors his holy name.

Matt and Silenced lamb? Jesus was son of the most high (Luke 1:32) and his name is Jehovah.
the NT is only 60 years of story, but thw OT is 1100 years, 20 times more time, why God will have to change his name?
You are doing nothing to us (JWS) but you earning a good enemy the one that sent his son to die for your sins, Yes Jehovah like or not the one who sent Jesus According to Malachi 3:1-3 and John 3:16, like or not JEHOVAH is the name of the most powerful being he power is infinite, Most powerful than his powerful son JESUS, cause unless Jesus lies he said that in John 14:28, and after his kingom Jesus will surrend it to his God almighty JEHOVAH (1 Corithians 15:28),and no matter the how powerful is JESUS which it is his father is infinite time more powerful like or not.
What are going to be the condition of the earth When Jesus rules this planet during his millenial Kingdom, are going to be how the Jehovah´s witnesses have been preaching 100 years?
Yes or No?
this is our belief and what we preach we don´t preach any other thing but the Gospel Jesus command to preach in MAtthew 24:14.
Jehovah ´s witness preach that Jesus after Armageddon and destruction of evildoers, Satan and his demons will be "Jailed" for 1000 years in the mean time Jesus will rule the earth with a group redeemed from earth (Revelation 5:10, 14:1-5) will resurrect people (Acts 24:15 and John 5:28-29) will provide food and eliminate famines (Psalm 72:16) will restore the health of humans (Isaiah 35:5-6, 33:24) will eliminate the death and the cause of the death and suffering (Revelation 21:4) in resumen will transform the earth in a great place to live a "new earth" the original purpose of God with Adam and Eve before they sinned (Genesis 1:28) .
After 1000 years , Satan will be release and mankind will have a second test and after that Satan will be cast into the lake of fire (destroyed) and Jesus give the kingdom to his father (Jehovah) (1 Corithians 15:28)
If this is false can you use the bible to prove it?
Are you preaching that message that Jesus command it?
Are you a truly worshipper JEHOVAH as JESUS said in John 4:23-24?

I am not afraid to use the bible to show you the error of your ways, Silenced Lamb. That goes especially for Matt as well. I read your profile. You obviously don't realize the bigotry that it betrays about you! And to think you evidently wrote it with pride! The fact that you keep copying and pasting the same stuff from an anti- JW website reveals your inability to think for yourself. (And you claim that WE are the brainwashed ones!) The only way to find the truth is to search for it UNBIASED!!! I know, I've been there. It isn't easy being a JW- you guys are part of the reason- so you have to ask yourselves why we do it. You have to ask yourselves why we're growing by the tens of thousands each year! Despite the hatred that is being spread toward us, we thrive!
It is you two (among others) who have the chip on your shoulder. I can especially identify your brand of hatred, Silenced. My ex- wife was a JW all her life and very intelligent. She was disfellowshipped a few years back and has recently been trying to get back in. But most of the time following her being disfellowshipped she was resentful. Despite her years of being a JW, she still doesn't "get it". She still doesn't understand bible principles and/or doesn't want to apply them. Her attitude is that they simply don't apply to her, they apply to everyone else! So, despite your "years" of being a JW, is it not possible that you, like her, just didn't "get it". Is it possible that you didn't like how Jehovah God thinks and what he expects from us so you became resentful? Is it possible that your so- called "de- programming" is actually "RE- programming" in order to desensitize your conscience to be comfortable with rejecting Jehovah's standards as laid forth in the bible?
I have 56 versions/translations of the bible, Strong's Greek and Hebrew Dictionary, and several bible commentaries and research books, and I can assure you that the New World Translation is a very good translation. There are no other translations that I have seen as of yet that have done a better job in handling Jehovah's name aright. What's more, you being a former JW, you should have known that in the appendix of the Greek Interlinear NT it gives documented evidence of the appearance of Jehovah's name in the Greek Septuagint, particularly when the NT writers were quoting from the OT! It even shows reprinted fragments of the manuscripts!
I think you're ashamed of your actions, Silenced, so now you feel obligated to further it in order to justify it. Deep down inside your conscience is screaming at you and you're running this hate campaign to silence it. I guess you really are a Silenced Lamb...

Many people can have 56 versions/translations of the bible, Strong's Greek and Hebrew Dictionary, and several bible commentaries and research books,
and
remain completly devoid of spiritual understanding and scriptual insight.
The New World Translation is a very good translation for the most part
but
There is just enough twisting and distorting of the words that it voids the very word of God.
Look at the record of the number one blinder and twister of the words of God:
The devil wasn't going to go away so easily, so he took Jesus into the holy city and set Him on a top corner of the temple. The temple was VERY, very tall. Would you hurt yourself if you fell off your house? Well, this temple was MUCH taller than your house. As Jesus stood up on that temple, He looked down at the ground far below Him.
The devil said, "Now if You really are the Son of God, cast yourself down." This time the devil quoted a Bible verse: "FOR IT IS WRITTEN, He shall give His angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash Your foot against a stone."
Jesus answered back: "IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN, that you shall not tempt the Lord thy God." Jesus knew God's Word WELL.
* * *
Finally, the devil took Jesus up a very, very high mountain. He showed Him all the kingdoms of the world with all their beauty and wealth.
What a sight that must have been!
The devil told Jesus, "All these things will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me."
The devil had the power to do this for he rules over the earth.
This time, Jesus said to Satan, "Begone, devil! FOR IT IS WRITTEN, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shall you serve."
Jesus taught there would come many decievers. And these decievers would alter the very word of God. These would build their own tradition and decieve many.
Child of the father of Lies.
Ye are of your father - he murdered (and lied) from the beginning (Satan and Cain).
You have prevent people from life saving medical methods - these have died - Murderer.
You have Lied and Decieved many - Murderer.

There were no "Watchtower society Bible writers", as the writing of the bible was completed about 19 centuries ago, long before the existence of corporate legal instruments in the United States and elsewhere.

You mean when they returned the name Jehovah that had been removed from the Bible?
You know, you would do well to heed the words of the Pharisee named Gamaliel:
Acts 4:38 And so, under the present circumstances, I say to you, Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown;
You seem to have taken a concerted effort in aposing the JW's why is this?

The name is in error, It was coined by a catholic monk by the name of Ramundus Martini in the 12 th century and didn't find it's way into the Bible until the 15 th century. The governing body didn't know hebrew or greek who translated so that's why there's so many mistakes in it. Remember what the scriptures said about adding or taking away anything from the bible but they boast about it.
