No. Criminal damage is an offence...as I believe you know!

unless you can prove their car was/is there by photos and the damage it has caused, you can't really claim for no damage.

Best thing is when the KA parks there, let the cops take care of it , if it's actually on your property as someone said, within 5 feet (about 1 1/2 meters) of the street is usually a right of way given to the public agencies for utilities and such.

If you have a lawn that has been damaged unreasonably then that would be the way to go. How much would it cost to put the damage right? Get quotes from gardeners. It may be that your household insurance would provide legal aid to bring a case; but be aware of your excess.

Do you have photos - preferably before and after?

You may need to consider preventative action - such as a raised edge.

I would leave a note on the car and remember do not damage anything you will go to jail OK.
One more thing there is a right away on any road just try to be nice then call your neighborhood police and ask them what you could do, hope this helps.

if someone parked there car on my lawn i would be seriously peeved. besides getting into trouble which you would (adding insult to injury), you best bet is prevention of further hassle is to put up a fence even something temporary for now. then you can sit out on your lawn and watch the fecker trying to park his ka elsewhere preferably some where the sun doesn't shine.

Generally, the city manages within 5 feets of streets or else you could charge the city with property damage whenever they plow snow and it's in your lawn, or trespassing when they give you your mail. You could call the police if you so wished.

No.
If you have a good relationship with your neighbor, go over and explain that you prefer that people not park on your yard. Nicely!!! If that doesn't work and if they have left it parked there for a period of time you can call the police and they will tell you the necessary steps to get it removed.

Keys scraped all the way down the side of the car makes a lovely mess and costs them a fortune to have put right.

How long has the car been parked there? I'm not positive, but I think you can get the car removed. Call up a towing company and tell them you have a car for them. They'll be down in a Jiffy!
Usually, if someone repeatedly parks in or blocks your driveway which has a sign, you can get it removed, but I'm not positive on this one.
Good Luckeez!

You should never intentionally inflict damge!

If you were on your own property, doing a bit of gardening, and had some sort of accident (eg. tripped over while holding a spade) would that be criminal damage?
