I can go to sleep anywhere at anytime... I just use a self-hypnosis/relaxation technique and I am gone! But what's the strangest place you have actually slept in?

Yeah, I love cat napping too. Weirdest places were in a nightclub when I was being chatted up by someone really boring, just concentrated on his monotonous voice, put my head on my arms and drifted off, he was still there when I woke up though, looking confused. I used to have a regular afternoon cat nap at work on the toilet for ten minutes.

Under a bus seat on a journey from Hurghada to Cairo the seat was about 4 inches from my face but i was desperate.
My feet were sticking out so i was woke up every ten minutes or so from people tripping over my feet.

Two places: the first being in a monsoon ditch in Belize, Central America, but I was drunk at the time. The second time was while I was standing, digging a fire trench, during my Army days. I think that one was through sheer exhaustion.

When I was a junior doctor it was the norm for us to work over 120 hours a week. It was quite common for doctors to doze off while eating or while sitting in the surgeons room waiting for the patient to arrive. When I was first courting my wife and was often invited round to her mums for tea, (we were very badly paid then and always up for a free meal!) It was quite common for me to eat and then fall straight to sleep in the chair. My future mother-in-law just got used to it.
