I am just curious. I've met people or friends who are way more shyer than me and I thought they must like to listen more etc. But as I got to know them-they had more to say than me, I couldn't even get a word out-and I do like to talk.-lol. And, of course with myspace and facebook; youtube; live journal-I've come to realize that there are more people full of themselves than we think. Even those shy ones, deep down inside-it is about them-rarely will people actually care more about others than themselves. What do you think?...Do people seriously love to talk about themselves-if givena chance-even those you wouldn't think of etc?.,.

I would argue that eventually shy people love talking about themselves as much as anyone because if someone is sitting there listening it validates that person and being validated feels great. We all want others to like us.

I think that most people are self-absorbed. And even if they seem shy at first, most people want to talk about their own interests.
