It's obvious our true enemies ( the guys behind 9/11 , etc. ) are in Pakistan and Afghanistan and Iraq is just a big Bush Mistake. We've all seen the proof that Saddam had ZERO to do with Al Qaeda and please don't post dishonest crap claiming he did. Why don't we have a larger portion of our troops where the true fight is? Instead of having them screw the pooch in Iraq?

the latest Pentagon report concludes the pre-war Iraq government had nothing to do with al qaeda. It's kinda Dumb that Bush and his thugs won't fess up to that.

Troops must be sent to Pakistan and Afghanistan to run after the Al Qaida thereat instead of concentrating in Iraq.

May be a good idea; Bush backers say if we leave Iraq the terrorist will follow. We should have been in Pakistan fighting terrorist instead of being in Iraq messing up their country. If we go to Pakistan the terrorist could follow us there and we could do what we should have been doing to start with; settling a national problem, not a Bush grudge.

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE PAKISTAN.

INVADING PAKISTAN WILL END UP BEING THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IF THE US PURSUE THIS.

Let me clear this up. The trouble started in Afghanistan and is spilling over into Pakistan, who are hosting the refugees NOT terrorists.
Pakistan is an ally in the war against terror. It's in their interest to eradicate terror too!

If the US ever do decide to invade Pakistan. You can bet your bottom dollar it will be nothing like the wars you have been fighting so far. Pakistan will in turn invade America.

I agree with you that the plan for 9/11 probably was made in Afghanistan or somewhere other than Iraq. What about Syria, or Saudia Arabia ? Everybody in the Middle East hates US because we try to Control the whole world and we can't even take care of our own problems in our own country.
Big Bush mistake ? Think about it. Where's the OIL at ? Does the Bush family have stock in OIL ? What happens to the price of oil , or other goods etc, when there is a` conflict' in a country that produces those goods ?
That wasn't a mistake. That was a plan!
JWB JR probably said `Daddy, `As long as I'm in Afghanistan I'll take care of Saddam which you couldn't do when you were President. OK daddy ? Because I make the rules. And we need the money.
PS
Why does Bush Jr. have Saddam's personal pistol [the one that he was captured with] in a case at the White House , as a Trophy
in a `collection' ?

Good Lord, NO. Enough with sending troops. There are other ways to influence what happens in different parts of the world. Helping Taliban against Soviets created Afghanistan problem, being pals with Saudis helps them spread the wahabi doctrine all over the world, including Pakistan. Maybe we should choose our friends a little better. That would save us a lot of trouble.

while it is actually a falsity that there is no connection between Iraq and 9/11 and actually the first twin towers attack in 1993, I definitely support sending more troops to Afghanistan and Pakistan to throw some lead around but we should send more to specific areas in Iraq as well. Of course it would be all for not if the American left doesnt get in line behind the nation rather than screaming and yelling in order to divide the nation for their own political gain
