I buy wine all the time from a California winery and ship to Texas. The laws vary from state to state, but it is legal in most of them.
I would call the winery, ask if they ship to the state your friends are in, if they do, just give them the address, which wines you want and your credit card number.
It's really that simple.
If your friends are in a state that doesn't allow it, your only option would be to buy the wine yourself, and pack it securely in a plain box, and ship it UPS and hope it doesn't get broken.

The laws differ from state to state and country to country. Check with the winery itself. They will know if it is legal to ship it FROM your location and, if so, how to go about it. They should also be able to tell you if it can be shipped directly to your friends or if it will need to be shipped to some third party, like a liquor dealer near his home.

Talk to the owners of the winery. They probably have legal rights to transport or ship their product over state lines. Do not mess with the Dept. of alcohol, tobacco and firearms, or the FCC.

FedEx can ship wine.
You can use two day or ground shipping if you don't need it there overnight.
