Do you think that the majority of questions asked about your specific belief system are...

A) Asked by sincere seekers of truth wanting to learn something?
B) Asked by those who just want to debate or ridicule?

If you can break it down into a percentage, what percent would be A, and what percent would be B?

Well, it appears that most people say the vast majority of questions asked about their beliefs fall into the second category.

Thanks everyone for your input! I will put this question to a vote.

Definitely A. About a 80/20 split.

You can tell the jokers from the serious questions.
I would have to say it varies with time of day, mood in general and who is on line.
So I can't come up with a percentage, but you can tell from the initial posting who is wanting to really know a fact or honestly willing to be respectful to the person asking the question.

Although I am not sure if what I believe is any known form of religion and I am not sure if anyone else thinks as I do, I would say that it is 60/40 in favor of A.

Although I would like to point out that to debate something is far more for the purpose of seeking a common truth than for ridicule.

Honestly you would have to be 100% sure they are telling you the truth. So there is no real way to tell for sure,. In my locality I'd say that it could very well be 90% B and 9% A 1% just plain curious. That is an assumption though and you should know what ***-u-me can lead to.

Most people don't ask about my religion, specifically, because it's a minority religion. Now those who ask about Paganism (the group of religions my religion falls into) generally seem either very sincere or they're just mocking, but I don't take it personally. It happens to everyone's religion here. I think we're all attacked equally if you break it down statistically.

I find it entertaining when people get yelled at for asking a honest, fair question because the responders didn't make the effort to read the details or have piss poor reading comprehension. Bonus points for when a christian yells at another christian or an atheist yelling at an atheist because the point of the question went well over their head. I'll go 50/50 as well.

I dont know, its probably about 50-50, but like Vinslave said, I dont spend too much time thinking about it. Just answer the ones you want to answer with sincerity & avoid the ones you feel are mocking. The rest is up to them.
