Coin flips and cherry picking.

Beliefs are not decisions, I can't decide to believe that fairies exist...then expect for it to exist, what exist, exists. Evidence is what's important, without them I would be gullible enough to believe ALL gods by now. Assuming that god already exist, then he is closer to a Deist god than to any other theistic god(s).

Im not really sure usually i can just feel what is right and what is wrong and i highly believe that the Holy Spirit influences my decisions. I would like a little bit of proof or something to fall back on but mostly i live by faith not by sight

I believe what is in the bible. I don't believe in people. God warns us all the time not to put their faith in man but in God. There are man's laws and there are God's laws. I tell people all the time to read the bible from the front to the very end. Most people don't even read the bible and believe what ever they are told by other people or a pastor. So much of the bible is taken out of content and switched around by so many people in religion. I just suggested you read it and follow it. The truth is there.

You pray, you think, you analyze, you ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to the right choices, then you step out and choose what seems most right to you.

If you try it a while and it doesn't seem right, you back-track and try something else.

All the while praying that God help you to keep your own ego and preferences out of it.

If left to my own, I know I would take the easiest, most expedient way out. So I constantly reassess and pray and ask for guidence.

It's worked pretty well for me so far, but it needs constant, I mean CONSTANT vigilance.

If there's facts to back something up, then I can believe it. If it's based on conjecture, emotion, someone else's point of view, I can believe they believe it . . . but where are the facts that will convince me to follow suit?

It's really not that difficult. Study the word and know the word is God. Know the law and know that the law is fufilled and written on your heart. Christians are not under the law but free from the law. We are by faith made new in agreement with God's law.

The bible is His word. It is an historical account of His life, actions and times.

The bible is the handbook for living. It DOES make sense. It is often in parables, but that is by design. I believe it with all my heart and soul. Jesus is everything to me. He lives and is part of all of us. Even those that do not believe, but unfortunately those folks will only be granted life here.

We 'decide' by what we feel in our heart and soul.
