This war and the casualties makes me cry, people hating other people makes me cry, people suffering in just about any way makes me cry, a LOT.

Mostly seeing my loved ones hurt over something and know that I cannot spare them the suffering that they are feeling. Sometimes thinking about loved ones who have left this world. I went for some years that I did not shed a tear, and finally broke down over a small thing. I realized I had been emotionally frigid, and now that the dam broke, I can cry over movies, being very happy or grateful or even just watching my grandchildren grow up.

An experience that makes me feel ultimate joy and happiness.
An example would be, when my basketball team was the shortest team, in terms of height, in the league, and we made it all the way to the championship, with only 1 loss during the season, and won, I cried because if felt the glory, joy and happiness, that we as a team defied all odds, by working as a team. No one player was better we all contributed to make that season magnificent.
I only needed one moment to be a champion, and it will ripple throughout my life and live forever.

I cry at almost every movie. It is so horrible. I have no control over what so ever. I have even cried during Disney movies. I find that if someone else is crying then my eyes just start gearing up.
The weird thing is, I almost never cry in real life.

Seeing anyone I love go through pain and suffering. The Lord gave my a heart for others, so when they hurt, I do as well.
On a lighter night, cheesy romantic comedies make my cry. "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton," "Just Like Heaven," and "Notting Hill," totally did it for me. There are more I could list, but I'll spare you guys. =)

Gee, a lot. An injured child; losing my dad made me cry; I am also subject to empathetic tears ... being close to a tragedy involving another for whom I care and hold close to me.
I have often wondered if my propensity for crying makes me less a man or if my ability to connect with others is more important. At any rate it's not something I share often or with many. It just is.

On a figure skating sight, I just saw 3 youtube videos of why NOT to let your daughter pair skate. I have seen many figure skating injuries for real and on video, but for the first time I cried watching these. I was thinking of MY young skater-potential daughter.

I don't cry very easily, but the death of my grandpa would make me cry a lot.

Remembering my parents and the short time I enjoyed their company, and looking at my sons baby pictures, life pass by so fast, I cannot believe they were so small, so mine, and now they are grown ups and living their own lives away. I'm an only child, I have no one else....
