have you ever saw the devil's puzzle? it's two sided very hard to put together..... anyway the bible is just like that.... it is better to not be a believer because everyone claiming to believe is wrong.... and because they go around condemning and misleading everyone they can only be condemned

The Christian that brake the rule will be judged in a different trial. There will be judged only believers that already have eternal life.
So your question reduces to "what is worse, being unbeliever" punished with eternal death for ... let's say 1 sin or "being a believer that knows the scripture" so he has eternal life but he's acts are still judged in the judgment of Jesus?
You'll find this odd but pay attention and listen good and you'll hear those rumors ;)

The latter. The former can at least claim ignorance, not that that is likely to help him should he have to account for his life, but its something. Both are pretty much screwed though in my opinion.
Incedintally, I think the rumor is true. A great many people of all religions are going to find out that they were never even close.

neither, if the person is a "believer", wouldn't they "believe" in doing as Christ requested us to do? I believe a true believer does not just confess with their mouth but also with his/her life. A true believer would live in a way That shows his/her love for God. So to your question, if Jesus never knew them I think they would be the same, no worse then a "non-believer".

Being a believer because a believer has the bible right in front of them, professes to read it, yet refuses to realize that it's full of lies and contradictions. The book they profess to live by, promotes violence and death in the name of 'God' both in the old and new testaments. Luke 19:27 says it all: justification for the atrocities carried out by the church over the centuries of its reign . . . Believing in this book and its 'God' is worse than never believing.

The last I checked, unbelievers make judgments about people just simply using different criteria.
That is true. In the end, it would have been better to have been born a fool and not known or revealed the way then one who was and denied it.

It's not my place to decide which is worse. However, I just want to clarify that the rumor you speak of is NOT a rumor. It IS in fact the truth, though not all choose to believe it.
"Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!"

I do agree that many of those who claim to beleve in God, Jesus, Holy Spirity will indeed find themselves being told that Jesus did not know them.
If you trully beleve in God then there is no doubt you'll get into heaven. The reason why is you will be trying to make yourself better and follow Gods will.

Thomas Jefferson:
Ignorance is preferable to error, and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing than he who believes what is wrong.

If a person quotes a verse from the Bible that makes the unbeliever "uncomfortable", it is not the quoter who is judging, but God, since God is the One who wrote it. The Holy Spirit convicts us in our sins, which is why we feel uncomfortable when He chides us with His Word.
