I'm 23 and my breast size have been increasing often...i was a 34B and comfortable and now i am a 34DD. I get trouble to buy nice clothes and if i get something to fit I usually have to get it adjusted.

I dont live in the US but how much does it cost approx.. to do this. Also if I decide to have kids would this keep me from breastfeeding?

If you have back pain your insurance could cover it, it cost my insurance $8,000 and all I had to pay was the hospital copay and my painkillers.

You CAN still breastfeed after reduction.

Check out these two sites:

http://www.bfar.org

They both will answer your questions.

It is normal to want a reduction if you are uncomfortable with your breasts. I had a reduction 2 months ago and am now a 34DD ( I know that this is the size you are now but I was a 34G and still wanted to be a large size as I always have been) I do not have any health insurance so I paid the cost in full. I live in Australia and I paid AU $11,500 which sounds expensive but I now have small perky, solid breasts which look great. My plastic surgeon also advised me that I may not be able to breastfeed but only because some women never can, it has nothing to do with my operation, it just depends on the way your milk ducts are.

I do not regret the surgery at all. I had all feeling back into my nipples within 2 weeks and now two months on I have only occassional pain (usually from when I get really cold or work too many hours).

I used this site
www.locateadoc.com
before my surgery and found it really helpful, especially the before and after photos of hundreds of women.

I have now found that all my clothes fit perfectly, I can wear nice bras and I look fantastic, it is 100% worth it!!!

I had a reduction and went from a 36G to a 36C, and I dont regret a thing. My insurance even paid for it in full because i was in such back pain all the time I couldnt even sleep.

Change in breast size can be due to weight gain or birth control pills... usually you can lose weight or stop the pills and the change will resolve..Have you gained weight or started pills recently? Have you tried a minimizer bra to help you fit into clothes?

My surgery was $6,000. The hospital stay was overnight, and the total bill was $9,000 altogether. As far as breastfeeding, the dr says its impossible to know until i have kids whether i can do it or not, but chances are very good I will be able to.

I understand how you feel, I wear a 40DDD bra. I want a reduction too. When I looked into getting one the cost was starting at $5,000.00. I talked to a few people who already got the procedure done and got mixed answers. One lady said it was the best thing she has ever done, but another lady said it wasn't worth it, she doesn't have any feeling in her nipples any more. I don't know if it affects breastfeeding, all of the women I talked to already had kids that were older. Try searching the web for the best price and ask alot of questions!!! Good Luck!

Yes, it's normal. I'm a 40DDD/E and have consulted with a plastic surgeon about it, but didn't go through with it. According to him, it does not affect the milk ducts and you'll have no problems breast feeding. Everyone I know who has had a reduction was thrilled with it. Since you're not in the US, I don't know how much it will cost you. However, consultations with the surgeon are free, and you can ask him/her all the questions you wish. Good luck, whatever your decision.

Not for most people, no. But I want one. I'm fifteen with a D cup, so yeah, I have nothing to do but grow....unfortunately. I don't know how much they cost, but you could just google "Breast Reduction {your city} and you should find some places with websites and prices there. It might keep you from breast feeding, but I don't know exactly. It's all in the wikipedia article, though. Hope this helps.

That is totally understandable! I'm not sure of the cost since you don't live here in the US. Yes, it's very likely that it will interfere with your ability to breastfeed.

Don't do it! You're not even that big. Many women would die to have your breast size. Wait it out for IDK about 4 years and see how you feel later. This is too drastic and you will probably regret it.

And, yes, you probably won't be able to breastfeed.
