If I'm not mistaken, the Yukon retains the same body style as the 1998 truck. If this is the case, remove the screw in the armrest with a #2 phillips. Carefully pry loose the light on the bottom of the door, and unplug the wire. Beginning at the rear, pry upward on the window switch plate. It should unsnap in the rear, then slide backwards.Unplug the switches from the panel, and pull it out of the way. Around your doorhandle is a thin plastic trim. Don't pry it from the outside. Rather, use a small straight screwdriver and slip it between the trim and the handle housing to release 4 clips, top bottom left & right. Starting at the bottom, slip a tool behind the door panel, and pull it towards you. It installs with plastic push-plugs which you will need to re-use.When all of them are released from the door, pull upward on the panel to pop it out of the door glass hole in the top. More than likely, your handle assembly will need to B replaced, as these break often. Simply drill out the 1 rivet, slide the assembly forward to release it from the inner panel, and pop out the connecting rod on the back side. The handle costs about 25.00 at the dealer, and is color matched to your interior. Being a denali, your handle may be chrome, therefore increasing the price a little. Good luck, hope this helps!

It's very easy, but there is a trick. Remove any screws that you can see. You have to pop off the accessory power panel for removal of the wires to the switches. Pry off the top triangle panel that covers where the mirror is. Any thing else that you can see that is not molded into the door panel either can stay on or hides a screw. I remove everything to be sure. There are only about three or four screws that hold these on. Then grasp the door panel and pull directly up as there are about six hooks that grab the metal of the door panel. It comes off very easily so don't wreck it. Good luck.
