Does this make a man seem like a wimp? I cannot get myself emotionally involved in the outcome of any sporting competition.

Is this a turn-off to women? Does being a sports nut make a man more appealing?

My husband really isn't into sports either. He will catch an occasional baseball and the rare football game. We both watch the World Series, Super Bowl, and NASCAR races every week (if it's on a channel we get). I also watch wrestling once in a while, and he really doesn't care for it. I don't think it's a turn-off if a guy doesn't like sports, but I would like it even better if he would get outside and throw a football with me or even play catch once in a while--if anything, I'm more of a jock than he is. I actually don't think I'd like it much if my S.O. were REALLY into sports--I wouldn't have too much to add player and stat wise. I don't think I could sit through hours of game-watching every week. Everybody has their own thing.
I agree--it depends on the woman. Now, if I were really a sport nut, I would like to have a guy with at least somewhat of an interest in sports as well.
Of course interests don't determine wimpiness or anything. It's how you truly portray yourself to the world around you that counts.

My husband does not really like sports and I love him for it. He is a Marine and definitely not a wimp he just doesn't get all excited about them. It depends on the woman whether or not she likes sports as to if it is a turn off or not. My ex lived for sports and that got old. My husband does not need scheduled days for football games and does not care if he saw the last fight or not. If you are taking care of your body and staying in shape it will turn a girl on no matter what. A good body and a firm hug are bigger turn ons than if you know the latest scores or not. If you act like a wimpy guy then you probably are one. Wimpiness is not determined by how into sports you are but by your actions and how well you atke care of yourself.

i'm not into sports..and my g/f doesn't care..and she is even on a sports team. In my opinion, i think it should help you...because you will worry more about your lover then "the big game"
