Gee, they all sound so good that it's a tough call there, buddy......They all would be showstoppers (I'd just suggest that if you choose the tuna, a nice curried couscous would be nice with it) Choices, choices, decisions..........I take care of this type of culinary dilemma the simple way, I know it sounds hokie, but it works for me, and what's picked is picked.....Write all three on three different pieces of paper, place them in a hat, bag, etc, and pick one........That way, I figure out that the cosmos wanted me to make the one that I picked.........Good luck and enjoy, you KNOW that your meal is gonna be impressive!! Enjoy!!!

I love the sesame crusted tuna - seared to just medium rare - and mango chutney! Yum! You could side it with saffron rice, plus a beautiful tossed salad made up of arugula or spring mix. Whatever you choose, though, they all sound great - Lamb would be my second choice! I hope you all have a wonderful evening!

I would like the lamb, but with mint jelly, and perhaps mint peas as a vegetable.
I don't know about the nutmeg potatoes as I have never tried them, and am wondering if the taste of the mint and nutmeg will go together of scream at one another.
One thing I do know is that if you want to make a really great meal it needs to be something you are familiar with.
If I am going to make something new, I will give it a trial run a day or two ahead.

Your lambchops sound delicious...I have never used nutmeg in a potato dish, but I have another potato dish you could try (it was taken from a Rachael Ray recipe). Bring some heavy cream to a slow simmer in a sauce pan with some frech herbs (we used sage, thyme, and rosemary). Slice your potatoes really thin and arrange them in a casserole dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper (to taste). Cover with the herb-infused heavy cream. Bake at 350 for an hour or so, until the potatoes are tender. Good luck!

Have you made any of these things before? If you have chose the one you make the best. Or ask your dinner guest their preferences.
