My cousin was murdered in May by his best friend.But what happened was he had given her the gun to shoot her bfriend because her bfriend was beating her and my cousin had told her next time he tries to hurt you shoot him dead. So I guess she thought my cousin was her bfriend and she shot him dead.But I want to know do you think she should be persecuted for that mistake.Its a messed up situation.I wish it never happened cuz he was just getting his life together.

well my mom was abused my my father and she said that fear may have blinded her well I hope this helped you understand better

Murder is Murder.If you cousin was a real friend he would have gotten her away from the beater.giving her a gun solved nothing.It just made her a Felon.we all wish we could redo a lot of things. I fought in two wars & I wish I could bring back the people I killed in war, but what is done is done. The young lady made a mistake but now she must pay. I just hope she learned from her mistake..

Yes I do.
The reason being is:
We should all be held responsible for our actions. Even though she didn't intend to shoot him, it was not self defense because it was the wrong person. She acted out of haste, she didn't even check to see who it was that she was aiming at.
Yes it may not have been intentional, but she still did it.
We all have to pay the consequences for our actions !!!

I am so sorry for loss of your cousin :(
She needs to be held accountable.

Jail time doesn't help anyone,but she planed on shooting someone so she may need some help for it from other souces other than the law to help her though what happen also.

why would she think your cuz was her boyfriend? how can this be a mistake on her part? i'm sorry, this makes no sense.
