I cut my cats nails every other week.

It depends on how fast your cat's nails grow, if they live outside or not, and weather or not they need cutting.
some cats don't need to have their claws clipped because they live outside and they wear down their claws over time. Usually every four to five weeks is about the time that you should cut their claws.

I take the tips off every two weeks, right after I cut my own toenails. EVERYBODY gets theirs clipped. Sometimes I'll leave the back feet alone if theirs haven't grown too fast, but the two week schedule we use is pretty good for us.

You should never cut a cats nails, its not natural and is bad for them!!!!
