IT means hes trying to get you drunk! Tell him he doesn't need to take you to bars :)

To me, it means that he isn't very well rounded, may drink too much for his health, and may not make wise use of his financial resources. Most people - myself included - have an alcoholic beverage at times, but a life that revolves arounds bars is definitely NOT a good sign, in my opinion. Why doesn't he want to take the money he would spend on a night in the bars, and instead go out to dinner, a movie, a museum, a play? Maybe he's hoping to meet someone else, while he's killing time with you?

But the real question(s) perhaps should be: what is his personality like? Is he fun? friendly? easy-going? ambitious? have a bad temper? Is he educated? Does he treat you well? Can you tell that he really cares about you from the way he acts? not just what he says or when you 'get physical'?

Good luck! Hope you make the right choices! I'm the first to admit that without knowing him, I can't tell you what that choice should be...

Amanda,
You deserve someone better than that. Why not attend a local Non-Denominational Church service this Sunday and find someone who will treat you with the respect that YOU deserve? I would be glad to assist you in finding a local Church if you are interested. He might be alright but if he only wants to take you to the bars then he is looking for something that you should not be into. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks,
Eds

It means that he spends all his time at a bar. I dated a guy like that. He was in a bar every night but Sunday. Because he didn't go on Sunday, he had convinced himself that he wasn't an alcoholic. Think about it.

It's probably just where he feels most comfortable?? Why don't you suggest you two do something different next time like the cinema where you can't (wellll) drink. It might be that he's just shy and has a few drinks to calm his nerves. As long as he's not using it to get you drunk and pressure you into sex, it seems pretty normal.

It could mean he isn't aware of your desire for more. He's comfortable with you in that environment. Maybe he wants to
know more about your interest or interest in him and he wants
you to initiate the discourse.

It could mean you're not exclusive partners yet. That's ok. You still have your freedom. Think of him as a friend.

I think, basically, proceed with caution.

He likes to party. If you feel uncomfortable don't do it, cause be will always want that kind of life.
He likes drinking and being around people who like the same.
Make a decision now to either be that way or find other people who like the things you like.
