Or just throw around subtle hints!

You can't! If he doesn't propose to you, it's because he doesn't share those same feelings as you have right now! There's nothing anywhere that says a man must propose to a woman in two of years of dating.

Leave him alone, don't pressure him, otherwise you'll loose him!!

Bring up the topic of marriage and see how he responds. You can't make him propose. If it's that important to you you could always propose.

I depends on your current relationship.
Do you think he's ready for marriage?
Is he resisting proposal?
Does he make excuses to not commit?

My husband proposed after three years, when I told him I was going to move on since it looked like our relationship wasn't moving toward a permanent commitment. It took him about five minutes to make that decision... but he was obviously ready to make it.
