A suitcase full of $100 bills, a truck load of Scotch and an immigrant Visa to Mexico.

Since the green people and global warming bobble-heads are so determined to destroy this country's economy it might actually come true. Let them wallow in the mess they are trying to create.
I for my part would like to enjoy life without this nonsense.

I guess it would depend where you thought you might be needing to survive. The priorities are first aid and medical treatments, water collection and purification, preventative measures and treatrments, food catching and processing, general survival aids and lesser commodities.

In any survival kit I would ensure there was a whistle, compass, basic first aid materials, torch or headtorch with batteries, water purification tablets, hexamine stove and hexamine tablets (or similar), needle and thread, snares or wire to make them with, lifeboat matches, multi purpose penknife, string, pencil and paper, dehydrated high energy food and other stuff that I can't think of at the moment.

Here's a long list, it's one half of the first aid and survival kit we take with us as a group when going to very remote and very cold places (couldn't copy the other half because of the way it's laid out on the spreadsheet)...

Flashlights, candles for the power going out. Canned goods and make sure you have a manual can opener. Batteries, blankets, a first aid kit (sometimes). Depends if your in your car or at home or hiking.

A big suitcase full of the truth.

Trevor, you're going to need a survival kit the size of Texas to hold all of that. XD

I like camcat's idea better.
