Yeah in some states its considered disturbing the peace, but that person has no proof that you did it. So I highly doubt something will happen, but if it does you can fight it. More than likely it will then be thrown out of court.

Nothing illegal about flipping the bird. It's good to communicate with the drivers around you, and to exercise your rights under the 1st amendment. When somebody gives you the bird, you don't go writing down their license plate. That's just license for the other driver to give you the bird even more, if not worse. I know it may not be appropriate, but c'mon. What a tool.

Depends who you flipped off and how good that person is in tracking you down or stalking you on the Internet....
When I was being processed after turning myself in, I talked to a lawyer who was arrested for telling a police officer to **** himself. The officer issued a civil citation for a court date, the lawyer did not show up for court and an arrest warrant was issued. The lawyer was very upset and I'm sure nothing major happened to him but the lesson is to be careful with using expeltives.

Not in the U.S.
Cops have arrested people before for flipping them off in traffic, and it always got thrown out of court. In Germany, though, you can get a ticket for insulting another driver and that does happen fairly often.

It has happened in Pittsburgh. Some guy was arrested for "public lewdness" for flipping the finger at someone (OK, so it happened to be a cop that he flipped off).
He's fighting it on the groungs that he wasn't naked and nobody really interprets that gesture to mean that someone should really commit some kind of sexual act.

You usually cannot be ticketed for flipping someone off as long as you're driving legally. It you're speeding, or otherwise driving aggressively, it could bolster a claim that you were driving recklessly, but some random person wouldn't have any case, because, unless he had a video camera, it'd be his word against yours, and prosecutors don't like that kind of case.

You cannot get a ticket for using sign language unless you purposely incite people to do something that they wouldn't do without your intervening. More likely the guy wants to find out where you live, which he can do using your MVR, so he can come and kill you.

Maybe, in some states. In Louisiana it's against the law to curse in public & people can press charges on you. Could be considered "Distrubing the Peace"

lol he deserved it but i know in many states it is illegal but I'm not sure about Michigan..if it were illegal here in Miami then everyone would be getting tickets..driving here is sooo crazy!
But don't worry about it..i doubt he has any proof that you did commit an offense.
