I would take some kind of pain relief, then get a pair of clean tweezers and try to pull it out that way.

Failing that, it's a trip to your local hospital for you.

They will do as above, but they have more experience therefore will have more chance of sucess.

Good luck :)

Your ear has probably swollen around the earring. Put ice on it for no more than ten minutes (wrap the ice in something first to prevent freezer burn) and then try to gently ease it out. Alternatively you could try applying a little lubricant or baby oil around the earring with a cotton but to help slide it out.

If none of the above works, seek medical attention. You might feel a bit foolish but it is better to get professional help that risk damaging inflamed tissues.

I'm guessing you mean in the piercing..atleast I hope you do.

I had the same thing happen to me. I left my earings in for about a month and contnuosly twisted them in the piercing, like the person told me to when I got them done. I tried taking it out and it had gotten wrapped in my hair and impossible yo just pull out normally.

The only thing you can do it pull it out then disinfect your ear.

put surgical spirits on it,yes it will hurt, then very gently keep moving it back and forwards, it takes time, keep looking for dirt coming out of the hole as this is the most likest cause of it being stuck.keep removing the dirt with surgical spirits and rotating the ear ring and it will in time come out.how do I know the daughter did the same thing!!!

Do not attempt to remove it yourself, there is a danger you will push it further inside your ear.Go directly to A/E where they will easily remove it with long forceps.Leave it alone and go to A/E now.
