Question Details: usually i use black borders, but i think that wouldnt look right on this image.

I think it's perfect without a border...a border would detract from the silhouette.

who needs a border? Very nice shot, a border would just take away any attention. If you used a white or gray border, it would take away from the white light showing around the face. Black would just add too much darkness around the image. Blue maybe, but a darker blue. If you absolutely had to put a border, maybe a combination of colors, make it fade from a black to a blue, but only if you had to but a border on it.

Print the image on one size larger paper so you have a nice white (large) area around it. That will be enough of a border and you can mat and frame it also with the white showing.

I agree with the others, no additional border is needed.
