I have had the same dream all week. I'm in a cafe, there's a guy that I don't know who comes up and sits down beside me and we just start talking like I've known him forever-- but I have never seen him before! What does this mean???

I've never been to the cafe, haven't seen it around.

You give few details, so the ones you give are strong. It is a cafe, a place many people go to get started with their day, to get the boost of coffee that helps them to get going; it is also a place to meet friendly people, so while you're sleeping, you're preparing your day to be pleasant and easy to get into.

Second big point: You talk to a stranger, as if you've know him forever. I don't find this contradictory to the cafe part of the dream. You are relaxing yourself into your day with friendliness and comfort.

The most important part of a dream is the feeling tone, and your dream, though reccurring, seems to have a breezy, cheerful, if slightly perplexed tone.

Because I believe that dreams are conflict-solvers; they are what allow us to sleep, to solve problems that might awaken us, as do nightmares, when they can't be solved, I get from your dream that you may be having a slightly hard time getting the "show on the road," (meaning finishing projects, a project, a job that needs to be finished) that you may be somewhat intimidated in dealing with certain people--for some reason, in this case, I think it's someone who may be pushing you to complete your task, project, and you are correcting those situations by dreaming this comfortable and cheery scenario, as if this is how you want to be in life, to talk to people and have them talk to you in friendly, open, unafraid aways, and to hang in comfy places, that help get your started in paths that you want to get going in, without any of the pressures or fear you may have attached to this thing you may be procrastinating on.

It's difficult to analyze without asking you specifics and without knowing what things you mention mean to YOU, because you wrote the dream; it's your creation, and only you can know what you're trying to tell yourself.

Try to see the cafe, the colors, and ask yourself why a cafe? What does cafe mean to you, as opposed, say to a fancy restaurant, a friend's house, etc. What does the guy look like? A stranger, but a nice-looking one? Familiar, but what is it that you discuss and what is it about him that allows you to talk as if you've know him forever? You say how you feel about him; I get the feeling that, he, too, seems to have known you "forever"?

I hold to my interpretation, but I ask you to look further into details to find more answers for yourself.

Once in awhile, both people are you. You may be getting comfortable with a part of you that you disowned before, that was alien to you, that you didn't want to face, that frightened or embarrassed you, that was perhaps just shy or afraid to compete and meet challenges, but now you're ready to deal with what you actually HAVE KNOWN FOREVER--a part of you, you are now revisiting!

Good luck!
and feel free to email me, if you have more questions on this dream; it's important, or you wouldn't be dreaming it "all week."
:-)

Did you go to the cafe wherever it is from your dream and see the guy popped up right there as in your dream? It might be a sign of true love?

Your dream means that you subconsciously would like the thought of spontaneous and mysterious encounters with men who are appealing.
