I want a four leaf clover on the upper-inner part of my forearm, about 3/4" by 3/4" - very small. But not too small. And close to my wrist (but below it!), slightly off center.

Let's say it didn't matter if I was supersticious or what my religion was. Does the tattoo itself sound cool? Does it sound like I'm putting it in a good place? There's always bracelets, you know (if I wanted to cover it up occasionally for work or whatever).

sure. It's fairly common, but as long as it's done well i think they look great. I personally would get it in the center, but i like symmetry when it comes to tattoos usually.

This is what I mean by "well done"

Without the word, but yeah. a cheap tattoo isn't good and a good tattoo isn't cheap.

As long as your tattoo means something to you, you won't regret it. Ignore these people that say you will. They don't know you, they don't know your life, and they have no idea if this means anything to you. My mother has a tattoo (she's 51) and she doesn't regret it at all. It makes her happy.

But don't go and grab some flash off the wall of a tattoo shop. Those you will likely (not always, but usually) regret.

Its not that good of a place because you have to think about the healing process. When you move you hand and stuff it causes wrinkles and that will make the scab to break apart and cause it to take longer to heal. If you like to be different then I wouldn't get it cause so many people have the four leaf clover and you also putting it in a common place. If thats what you really want then I would do it.

wow, that sounds awesome!!!

I have a 4 leaf clover tattoo as well and mine is on my hip since my job has strong opposition to tattoos being visible....

good luck! but make sure you research the shop you go to, getting a tattoo is a big decision, you don't want to get it done wrong or worse, get an infection from an unsafe shop.

have fun!!

Yeah I agree with Rose. Centre it a bit more...

It sounds cool though, just try and put some kind of a spin on it, so it's a little different.

i've been thinking for a few years about getting a tattoo on the inside of my wrist, but i'm a professional. I would get it where my watch band could cover it if I wanted...

Yeah, I like your idea for the tattoo. Another good place is your ankle, very popular.
