There use to be a Nike Tour, it is now called the Nationwide Tour. There are alot of mini-tours out there, but none that directly connect to the PGA Tour like the Nationwide Tour does. The is the Hooters Tour that is located in the Carolina's and Florida and the DP Tour (Developmental Players Tour) located in Florida. There are many, many more based on your region, but some Tour players such as Ben Curtis and others played on the Hooters Tour. The DP Tour is run by Heath Slocum's dad.

Used to be. First it was I think the Hogan tour and then maybe the Nike tour. A few years ago it was changed to the Nationwide tour. It is the next level below the PGA tourn and I think the top 12 finishers on it get a one year exemption into the PGA tour the next year. I also know that the top 20 or 25 are exempted into final tour qualifying. This tour is a notch above the Hooter's tour and some of the other mentioned.

The current Nationwide Tour was called the Nike Tour in the mid-90's - prior to that it was known as the Hogan Tour. Nike was the first title sponsor - then I believe it was the Buy.Com tour and now is sponsored by Nationwide Insurance. Hooter's sponsors a mini tour - primarily in the Southeast. I don't think Nike sponsors any tours at the present. They are giving all their golf money to Tiger and Michelle Wie - who shot an 84 today. Nice investment...
