Over the past few weeks I keep dreaming that I am chasing someone I love.

The dream is quite often very differen't each time. The situation and the way in which I'm chasing the person or the reason for my chasing them changes each time. But, it's always the same person, I'm always chasing them, and I never catch up.

Does anybody have any idea what this means??

Chase dreams often stem from feelings of anxiety in your walking life.Running is an instinctive response to physical threats in our environment.

Often in these dream scenarios, you are being pursued by some attacker, who wants to hurt or possibly kill you. You are running away, hiding, or trying to outwit your pursuer. Chase dreams may represent your way of coping with fears, stress or various situations in your waking life. Instead of confronting the situation, you are running away and avoiding it.?

Ask yourself who is the one chasing you and you may gain some understanding and insight on the source of your fears and pressure.
Next time you have a chase dream, turn around and confront your pursuer. Ask them why they are chasing you.?
One may be consumed by their own anger, jealousy, love, or self-destructive behavior. For example, you may be drinking too much or exhibiting open hostility toward others around you.

Your dreams are a way of calling attention to these self-destructive actions.

The dream could be a play on the word "chaste" which means virginal or celibate. Chasing someone means trying to catch them but you aren't actually catching them in the dream.

Do you have a bit of a dilemma about virginity or celibacy? Your chasing them but not catching might mean that you say one thing but really want another or do something but aren't happy about it - in relationships or love.

According to Dreamcrowd:

It is very common to dream about all kinds of faces. Strange faces and familiar faces alike are frequent images in our dreams. Interpret your dream by considering the face and the general content of the dream. A stranger's face could represent different parts of your personality or psyche. You think that you are seeing a stranger but in actuality you are seeing a different part of yourself. Jung said that the stranger is a part of you that comes from the unconscious. A comic face may indicate that you have a conscious or unconscious need to mock or snub the conventional. Featureless faces suggest that you may feel unnoticed and unappreciated. On the other hand, some believe that the blank or unclear face represents a teacher. That is someone who is there to show and teach you a lesson but you are unprepared for it and the face is blank. Smiling faces are representative of happy thoughts and feelings and possibly anticipation of a joyful event in the near future. Always remember the compensatory nature of dreams and their ability to point to the opposite of what you experience in daily life.
