Do you think it's their fault if they drink it, despite the fact that I told them specifically not to?

I see where you're going with that. And I would blame you, you sick jerk! (Yeah, god would be a real asshole, if he was real.)

if they are 6 years old or younger, yes, because they hardly listen to authority and learn only from negative feedback (such as seeing the other sibling dying from drinking the poison) if they are older than that and still drink the poison, they are rather dumb.
However, you would be prosecuted and use this question as a proof of intent so don't be stupid.

The thing is, we, the living eternal living entity, have spiritual desires, because God, being the Supreme person, has desires and we being part and parcel of God, possess the same desires. Now, for God there is no any problem to fulfill His desires, but us, being minute, we get entrapped when desires to enjoy material nature. Material nature(in this case you may call it the tree of knowledge) was created because we wanted it, not because God was some stupid thing, God warned us, we were not innocent kids, we new it, but we disobeyed Him, because we wanted to enjoy the fruit, and we ate the fruit, and later that apple(enjoyment) become bitter(turned into suffering) and the result is all this calamities.

If they truly were kids, yes.
If they were adults, like Adam and Eve, and could fully understand the consequences of drinking the poison, no.

I think you'd probably be giving yourself a growth experience you wouldn't enjoy, while probably doing the world a favor insofar as ridding the future of your progeny while getting yourself locked away somewhere.

definitely... i mean, you told them not to. but look at it this way; if they do drink the bottle after you told them specifically not to, then i'm sure after being as sick as they're gonna get they're never do it again... dumb babies!
