Actually if you look at old pictures of Bruce lee. REAL pictures. You can see that, yes, he did work out a lot. But he didn't have that amazing of a muscular build. There was no way it was power.
It was focus. He could focus his chi, and all his power to a single motion. He learn to do it quick enough to seem to have amazing power. He was the greatest martial artitst that ever lived.

NO it was not because if his tricep training. He did not muscle his opponents.
That was pure technique he used. From his toes through his legs and controlled by the hip and proper form. that is how he did he great 1" punch. Just a really great use of the technique.
Sure you could do similar by muscling it but you lose and gain muscle you do not with knowledge usually.

Both tricep training and techniques. One exercise is knuckle push ups. Instead of palms flat curl your hands into fists and use your fists for push ups. Not easy. You need to be extremely strong.
