You must be indicating the disrespectful remarks given to some religions in particular.And it must be hurting for you to see people calling names to each other religions? right?If so, than we are in the same boat.
I too sometimes get hurt by reading some of the answers.We all need to respect each other's religions and faiths, as no religion in the world has ever guided pulling other fellow men's legs on such pitiless issues.
All that is of importance in evry religion is tolerance and humanity.

Because you are judging everything you read on here against a rule book in your head (probably the Bible)....
There are no rules and regulations except these:
- do no harm
- live with honesty and integrity
- follow your bliss. do whatever it is that makes your heart leap and makes you feel excited and happy.
That's all you have to do.
The expectations and judgments you have floating in your head lead you to suffering.

The gullibility and drooling stupidity of 'believers'... and then contemplating the fact that they make up a huge majority of the population of the USA (nuclear weapons, and all)... leaves me with a sense of despair for the future of the country, the world and humanity.

For me it isn't painful. RS just confirms what I already know to be true. That we humans are incredibly dense, opinionated, thick-headed, stupid animals, though we're surprisingly good engineers.
