Therefore, if God has created both good AND evil, being and worshipping evil is the same as being and worshipping good, since they are both creations of God. Indeed, since you only try to be good and only worship good, you are being incomplete and halfway in your worship of God

Learn some Hebrew. The word can also mean "calamity", "adversity", and "affliction". Since it's being contrasted with "peace" rather than "good", it would seem that any of these words would better represent the original intent.

That quote is from the King James version. If you check with the Oxford Etymological Dictionary you will find that "evil" at that time was used to denote anything unpleasant, not just moral evil. We no longer use the word that way in modern English so modern versions translate Isaiah 45:7 differently. The NIV, for example, says,

"I form the light and create darkness,
I bring prosperity and create disaster;
I, the LORD, do all these things."

God is not saying here that he commits moral evil. He says he blesses some people and in some cases visits judgment on others through disaster. This does not mean that all problems or disasters are judgments from God. We live in a fallen world where such things happen.

Honestly now, do you really believe anyone related to Jesus said that? Be smart, believe Jesus, not the god of the o.t.

Response: It begins and ends with Jesus. He is the one true messenger sent from God. The church rejected and tried their best to destroy His words that did not support their doctrines. Collectively they are known as the gnostic gospels and can be found in the Nag Hammadi library. The centerpiece to this collection is The Apocryphon of John. In this text Jesus makes it clear that the god of the o.t. is satan. Your verse in Isaiah is consistent with this. Also, the god of the o.t. is inconsistent with the teachings of Jesus. God has given us 2 priceless gifts, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. These two always agree and are consistent with each other and unconditional love. They would never try to control or manipulate people by fear and intimidation like you see in the o.t.
