my boyfriend doesn;t really care if we talk on the phone. he doesn't always respond to my texts. We only see each other three or four nights a week. and if i ever say anything to him, all he says is that I'm optional and I shouldn't expect anything. Whats up with this?

sorry to say, but it sounds like he's not into you as much as he should be...maybe you should give him a week or two without phone calls or texts and if he starts to whine that you stopped contacting him, you can tell him that it doesn't seem that he's that interested in you, so you stopped "imposing yourself" on him...see how he reacts to that! If he cares after that, then he might get the hint to change his act.

No, the question is what's up with your self esteem? The fact that he says you're optional means..that can be replaced instantly..and you just an option to him, guess he has many. You need to question why you deal with such foolishness? He is showing you how you really feels about you & don't expect for him to just change over night..

just dump him. he isnt worth your time. my ex was like that and then finally we just ended our relationship because i couldnt stand it. we didnt talk on the phone a lot cause he didnt really care. he never really called me either. you can find someone better

He doesnt sound like a very good boyfriend. Next time u 2 go out ask him wat his deal is with u. if he gives u crap and still acts like this to u then maybe u 2 sholdl break up 'cause he is just a waste of time. U desvere more then wat he is giving u. Good luck!
