I wanted to know without the land can I have a home build for 500,000 or less?Also can a Manufactured home cost less than 500,000. Just a basic home like 3bd 2bth 2500sq

Where do you live anyway? It all depends on that? $500,000 can buy you a much bigger house than that where I live. I'm looking into buy a 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath, 2000 sq ft house in the near future and it will cost between $150,000 and $175,000.

500,000? You can buy a manufactered home for a lot less than that. for that size which will be something like a 80 x 32 prices range from 50,000 + to around 100,000 + depending on the make model etc.

couple of houses i built just to sell.... with out land average
$150 -$250 per sq ft to build - move in ready depending on style and location most custom homes in midwest area are 200 per sq ft less land
2500 sq ft average home =500,000 thats with all the goodies
hard wood, granite, brick, master suites.... etc
more conservative homes can be done for less but it depends on what you want and how much your willing to do yourself

yes you can but what you get for your money will depend on where you live because of state regulations, township regulations, local labor costs, transportation costs, sales taxes, etc...
