I noticed it just now because her sister cat is gone for a while, and now she is alone, I know how little she does in the litterbox.

Also I did not find poop or pee anywhere else...

She is 2 year old, spayed calico DMH

she looks healthy... she eats and drinks a lot so that's why I am curious.

well I pee way more than once a day... yeah... I am more concerned about the pee part...especially she drinks quite a lot.

She is indoors, and I work from home, she is not lonely, she is with me on my lap, and sleeps with us. She also plays with the dogs.
she seems perfectly happy and healthy, my issue is that she does drink (I see her) and pees only once a day.

Mine poop once and pee twice. That's pretty normal for all five of ours.

If yours is doing more than two pees a day, and is drinking an awful lot of water (enough to fill the bladder for HUGE pees) you need to have her checked for diabetes, this is the first sign that something isn't right. Most diabetes caught early on can be taken care of with the correct food -- high protien, low carb -- and you don't need to go to insulin, but if the disease has progressed too far, you're looking at putting her on insulin or loosing her because there's no middle ground if it is diabetes.

But it depends on how much water/pee you're seeing. Diabetic cats tend to 'flood' the litter box when they're not regulated.

Well, that depends on if she goes outside at all alone because they sometimes dig up gardens and stuff and do it out there. But if the cat isn't eating as much it is just depressed. Just spend alot of time with it and cuddle and stuff so it wont be lonley any more.

How many times a day do you poop and pee? A cats out put is based on its intake. No problems here.

Pooping once a day is normal, but peeing means he isn't getting enough fluids

no that is not normal because dogs and cats should pee and poop 4 times a day.

i think that it is perfectly normal. if you are really very very concerned go and ask the vet. your cat should be perfectly fine though.
