My "boyfriend" of almost a year turned out to be married all along. He NEVER told me he was married, he swore he was divorced. I had even met his children, his "ex-wife" and his family and NOBODY THOUGHT that I had a right to know he was married. I had made it VERY CLEAR to him when I met him that I DO NOT DATE MARRIED MEN and still he pursued a relationship with me. So after almost a year of dating this jerk I find out he's married because him and his WIFE have decided to get together again. (We had broken up for about three months but he texted me every few days telling me he loves me etc.) I found out that he was married by pure accident because my friend and I were looking through myspace and found his wifes page PLUS HIS OTHER MYSPACE PAGE! Why would this man lie to me for about a year? What makes people be so dishonest? OH and FYI I've cut off all contact with him, I didnt even need to question the fact that he's married it was right there in front of my eyes.

Good for you for cutting off all ties with him. Sorry that happened to you. Sounds like he was unsure of his relationship with his wife (maybe they were having issues at the time) and wanted to test the waters without losing her. People like that, who lie and cheat, think they're entitled to have it all and don't really seem to care who they hurt in the process. Count yourself lucky for finding out finally so you can move on to a healthy relationship that you deserve.

dump the ones who abused ur old self
start afresh at anew place
be firm and polite always in life.....way too many people esp gurls r going thro hell due to this taken for granted malaise

wow, you did the right thing for kicking him to the curb. some people get a thrill out of doing dumb things like lying, having "secret" relationships, etc. It's a game to them and they don't realize they are playing with REAL people with REAL feelings. There's not much you can do, even though you probably want to kick his butt and give him what he deserves. People like that usually hang themselves on their own and you don't have to do anything. Sorry that happened to you!

let me tell you i'm sort of in the same boat as you. mine is different because i was with one man for 14yrs and he left me for another woman in another state. he lied to her about me. now they are married and she told me he has never lied to her. when i have proof he did. oh yeah!!! they only known each other for about a week but talked online and phone for about a month. i really dont know why men lie. i think they do it because they want to see how far their lies can get them. just remember what goes around comes around

Girl,he was using your ***.maybe the wife no about you then she gave him child support and he use your money to pay child support and i wouldnt give a damn if he said he love me.
